7:1 În anul al patrulea al împăratului Dariu, Cuvântul Domnului a vorbit lui Zaharia, în ziua a patra a lunii a noua, care este luna lui Chisleu. În anul al patrulea. Versetele 1-3 relatează despre o delegaţie din Betel (vezi comentariul la v. 2) pentru a întreba dacă mai trebuie ţinut postul care comemora nenorocirea Ierusalimului. Data înscrisă aici ar putea fi calculată ca aproximativ 6 decembrie 518 î.Hr. (vezi Vol. III, p. 99), cam la doi ani după ce fuseseră date viziunile anterioare (cap. 1,1.7). Întrucât în încă aproape doi ani Templu avea să fie terminat (vezi Ezra 6,15), lucrarea de rezidire era fără îndoială mult avansată. Preoţii erau deja ,,în Casa Domnului” (vezi Zaharia 7,3). Datorită acestei perspective optimiste în mod natural s-a născut întrebarea dacă un trebuia să mai fie ţinut un post instituit în împrejurări triste. Dariu. Darius I (vezi Vol. III, p. 70-72). 7:2 Cei din Betel trimiseseră pe Şareţer şi pe Reghem-Melec cu oamenii săi, să se roage Domnului, Cei din Betel. Ebr. beth-’el, care în traducere înseamnă ,,casa lui Dumnezeu”. Partea de început a versetului zice literal, ,,şi Betel a trimis”, însemnând probabil ,,cei din Betel au trimis.” Şareţer. Un nume Babilonian corespunzând acceadianului Shar-uşur. Un fiu şi ucigaş al lui Sanherib purta numele acesta (2Regi 19,37). Numele străin arată că Şareţer se născuse în exil. Oamenii săi. Probabil asistenţii delegaţilor. Să se roage. De la ebr. chalah, ,,a deveni slab”, ,,a se îmbolnăvi”. Totuşi, în forma aflată aici cuvântul este folosit într-un sens bun, precum a linişti mângâind faţa sau a pune într-o stare blândă; astfel urmează sensul ,,a se face plăcut”. Expresia poate fi tradusă ,,a cere îndurare lui Dumnezeu.” 7:3 şi să întrebe pe preoţii din Casa Domnului oştirilor şi pe proroci: Trebuie să plâng şi în luna a cincea şi să mă înfrânez, cum am făcut atâţia ani? Preoţii. Aceştia trebuiau să fie cei care explicau Legea (vezi Hagai 2,11). Din Casa. Vezi comentariul la v. 1. Prooroci. Fără îndoială Hagai şi Zaharia şi probabil alţii. Să plâng? Postul (v. 5) la care se face referire aici comemora nimicirea Ierusalimului de către Nebucadneţar în luna a cincia a anului 586 î.Hr. (2Regi 25,8.9; Ieremia 52,12-14). Vezi comentariul la cap. 8,19. Să mă înfrânez? Sau ,,Să mă despart”. Adică, abţinerea de la hrană şi plăceri. 7:4 Atunci Cuvântul Domnului oştirilor mi-a vorbit astfel: Cuvântul Domnului. Răspunsul este dat în mai multe părţi, fiecare introdusă prin această formulă specială (vezi v. 8; cap. 8,1). 7:5 Spune la tot poporul ţării şi preoţilor: Când aţi postit şi aţi plâns în luna a cincea şi a şaptea, în aceşti şaptezeci de ani, oare pentru Mine aţi postit voi? Tot poporul. Răspunsul îi privea pe toţi, nu numai pe cei din Betel. Luna a şaptea. După tradiţie, postul acesta comemora uciderea lui Ghedalia (vezi 2Regi 25,22-26). Şaptezeci de ani. De la 586 î.Hr., anul distrugerii Ierusalimului (2Regi 25,1-4), până la data prezentă (vezi comentariul la Zaharia 7,1) erau aproximativ 70 de ani (vezi Vol. III, p. 99, 100). Adică, dacă se socotea calendarul cu începerea anului toamna, era perioada dintre 587/586 şi 518/517, 70 de ani socotind inclusiv (vezi Vol. III, p. 99). Pentru Mine. Posturile acestea fuseseră rânduite de oameni şi nu împlineau nici o poruncă divină. Evident că ele un erau venite dintr-o pocăinţă autentică pentru păcatele care aduseseră nimicirea cetăţii şi a ţării. 7:6 Şi când mâncaţi şi beţi, nu sunteţi voi cei ce mâncaţi şi beţi? Nu sunteţi voi? Sau ,,Pentru voi înşivă”. Adică, fără nici o legătură cu gândul la Dumnezeu (vezi 1Corinteni 11,17-22). 7:7 Nu cunoaşteţi cuvintele, pe care le-a vestit Domnul prin prorocii de mai înainte, când Ierusalimul era încă locuit şi liniştit împreună cu cetăţile lui de primprejur, şi când şi partea de miază-zi şi câmpia erau locuite? Nu cunoaşteţi? Sau ,,Nu trebuia să auziţi?”. Partea de la început a versetului probabil trebuie să fie redată ca în LXX: ,,Nu sunt acestea cuvintele?” De repetate ori ,,proorocii de mai înainte” avertizaseră împotriva încrederii puse numai în păzirea unor ceremonii exterioare (1Samuel 15,22; Proverbe 21,3; etc.). Liniştit. Sau ,,În prosperitate”. Contrastul dintre prosperitatea anterioară a israeliţilor şi starea lor prezentă smerită era o tristă amintire a ceea ce pierduseră ei prin neascultare. Miazăzi. Negeb (vezi comentariul la Iosua 15,19). Câmpia. Şefela (vezi comentariul la Iosua 15,33). Negebul şi Şefela alcătuiau două din cele trei părţi ale lui Iuda, constituind ,,regiunea muntoasă” din jurul Ierusalimului (vezi comentariul la Judecători 1,9). 7:8 Cuvântul Domnului a vorbit lui Zaharia astfel: Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 7:9 Aşa a vorbit Domnul oştirilor: Faceţi cu adevărat dreptate, şi purtaţi-vă cu bunătate şi îndurare unul faţă de altul. Faceţi cu adevărat dreptate. Profetul enumeră diferite aspecte ale dreptăţii morale aşa cum fuseseră adesea prescrise (vezi Exod 23,6-8; Isaia 32,7; Ieremia 22,3; Mica 2,1.2). 7:10 Nu asupriţi pe văduvă şi pe orfan, nici pe străin şi pe sărac, şi nici unul să nu gândească rău în inima lui împotriva fratelui său. Nu asupriţi. Vezi Exod 22,22-24; Deuteronom 10,18.19; Ieremia 7,5.6; Isaia 58,5-7. 7:11 Dar ei n-au vrut să ia aminte, ci au întors spatele, şi şi-au astupat urechile ca să n-audă. Au întors spatele. Sau ,,Şi-au tras umărul într-o parte”. Ca un bou care se smuceşte înapoi de la un jug care i se pune pe grumaz (vezi Neemia 9,29; Osea 4,16). 7:12 Şi-au făcut inima ca diamantul de tare, ca să n-asculte Legea, nici cuvintele pe care li le spunea Domnul oştirilor, prin Duhul Său, prin prorocii de mai înainte. Din pricina aceasta Domnul oştirilor S-a aprins de o mare mânie. Ca diamantul. Ebr. shamir, o piatră de o mare duritate, probabil piatră de polizor (vezi comentariul la Ezechiel 3,9). O inimă de piatră este neimpresionabilă. Cele mai puternice apeluri nu stârnesc nici un răspuns. Acţiunea era deliberată, un act al voinţei. ,,Şi-au făcut inima.” Legea. Ebr. torah, ,,învăţătură” (vezi comentariul la Proverbe 3,1). 7:13 Când chema El, ei n-au vrut s-asculte: De aceea nici Eu n-am vrut s-ascult, când au chemat ei, zice Domnul oştirilor. Când chema El. Adică, Iehova. Pedepsele aspre care au căzut peste popor ar fi putut fi evitate. Când a devenit evident că disciplina exilului va fi necesară pentru a efectua reformă morală, strigătele pentru îndepărtarea pedepsei au rămas neluate în seamă (vezi PK 292; Isaia 65: 12-14; 66,4). 7:14 Ci i-am împrăştiat printre toate neamurile pe care nu le cunoşteau; ţara a fost pustiită în urma lor, aşa că nimeni nu mai venea şi nu mai pleca din ea; şi dintr-o ţară plăcută cum era, au făcut o pustie! I-am împrăştiat. Neascultarea şi apostazia au avut ca rezultat captivitatea babiloniană. Nu le cunoşteau. Compară Deuteronom 28,33.49; Ieremia 16,13. Pustiită. Vezi Ieremia 9,9-16. Ţară Plăcută. Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
