6:1 Doamne, nu mă pedepsi cu mânia Ta, şi nu mă mustra cu urgia Ta. INTRODUCERE - Cel dintâi din cei şapte psalmi de penitenţă (6, 32, 38, 51, 102, 130 şi 143; vezi p. 624), Psalmul 6 este profund personal. Maclaren zice: "Dacă pulsaţia unei dureri personale a găsit vreodată lacrimi şi glas, aceasta este în psalmul acesta." Luther îl numea "o rugăciune de penitenţă pentru sănătatea trupului şi a sufletului". În el psalmistul exprimă agonia trupească şi chinul sufletului când e făcut să sufere de cei care susţin că Dumnezeu l-a părăsit. Cu toate că e pe pragul morţii, el se roagă fierbinte cerând ajutor şi susţine cu tărie că Dumnezeu îl ascultă şi îl mântuieşte. Ca şi Psalmul 3, acesta psalm prezintă o schimbare dramatică bruscă: în v. 8-10 melancolia profundă e preschimbată în bucurie intensă. Pentru descrierea unei experienţe la fel de impresionante, vezi Psalmul 30. În ce priveşte comentariul la preambul, vezi p. 616, 627. 1. Nu mă pedepsi. [Nu mă mustra, KJV]. Nenorocirea şi boala erau considerate în vechime pedepse dumnezeieşti pentru păcat. În chinul lui sufletesc, psalmistul consideră că Dumnezeu n-are plăcere de el şi de aceea îl mustră. Psalmistul se roagă ca mustrarea lui binemeritată să fie cu îndurare, nu cu mânie (vezi Ieremia 10,24). În mod frecvent în Vechiul Testament, scriitorul inspirat caracterizează atitudinile şi acţiunile Divinităţii în limbajul oamenilor (vezi Psalm 2,4). În ebraică, ultimul cuvânt al v. 1 se sfârşeşte cu sunetul lung i. Sunetul acesta predomină în întregul psalm, în special la sfârşitul multor versete, şi constituie o interesantă asemănare de sunete numită asonanţă, care dă psalmului un ton de penitenţă (vezi p. 624). 6:2 Ai milă de mine, Doamne, căci mă ofilesc! Vindecă-mă, Doamne, căci îmi tremură oasele. Mă ofilesc. Literal, "mă ofilesc". Verbul acesta este deseori aplicat la ofilirea plantelor (Isaia 16,8; 24,4.7; Ioel 1,12). Vindecă-mă. O cerere directă de vindecare fizică, cu toate că nu e amintită o anumită boală. Oasele îi "tremură". Afirmaţia aceasta arată suferinţa intensă, de moarte a scheletului corpului său; întregul său corp e chinuit de durere. 6:3 Sufletul mi-i îngrozit de tot; şi Tu, Doamne, până când vei zăbovi să Te înduri de mine? Sufletul mi-i îngrozit de tot. Chiar mai mare decât durerea fizică este agonia sufletească. Psalmistul nu e în stare să-şi elibereze mintea de gândul că are parte de neplăcerea lui Dumnezeu. El exclamă îndurerat: "Doamne, până când?" ca şi cum, în încercarea de a exprima o rază de speranţă în puterea lui Dumnezeu de vindecare, îşi dă seama brusc, în natura lui umană, de situaţia disperată în care se află şi strigă: Cât va mai continua chinul acesta sufletesc, până voi afla alinare?" (vezi Iov 7,2-4). I se pare că Dumnezeu l-a părăsit în boala lui. Creştinul poate afla mângâiere în ideea că suferinţele pământeşti sunt neînsemnate când sunt comparate cu bucuria cerului (vezi Romani 8,28; 2 Corinteni 4,17.18). 6:4 Întoarce-Te, Doamne, izbăveşte-mi sufletul! Mântuieşte-mă, pentru îndurarea Ta! Întoarce-te, Doamne. Psalmistul se roagă acum pentru eliberare. "Sufletul" este o expresie idiomatică pentru pronumele personal "mine". Apelul acesta este către îndurarea lui Dumnezeu, ca unul din atributele caracterului Lui (vezi Exod 34,6; Numeri 14,18; Psalm 86,15). 6:5 Căci cel ce moare nu-şi mai aduce aminte de Tine; şi cine Te va lăuda în locuinţa morţilor? Aduce aminte. Versetul acesta constituie o dovadă împotriva doctrinei unei stări intermediare conştiente între moarte şi înviere (Psalm 88,10; 146,4; Isaia 38,18). 6:6 Nu mai pot gemând! În fiecare noapte îmi stropesc aşternutul, şi-mi scald patul în lacrimi. Îmi stropesc aşternutul. Neputând să doarmă, psalmistul plânge "în fiecare noapte" (sau "toată noaptea") din cauza suferinţelor lui. Poetul se lasă în voia hiperbolei puternice din v. 6.7 pentru a exprima intensitatea chinului său sufletesc. Se pare că este istovit nu numai de chinul sufletesc, ci şi de o profundă frământare mentală. Dacă psalmul a izvorât din necazul pricinuit de răzvrătirea lui Absalom, e uşor să ne dăm seama de chinul tatălui lipsit de fiul său, înmărmurit de nerecunoştinţa mârşavă a odraslei sale (vezi bocetul lui David pentru Absalom, 2 Samuel 18:33; 19:1-4). Comparaţi cu descrierea plastică a lui David luată dintr-un poem religios ugarit (vezi p. 618): "Seara, s-a prins cu mâinile de patul său în timp ce plângea şi a adormit în lacrimile sale". 6:7 Mi s-a sub faţa de întristare, şi a îmbătrânit din pricina tuturor celor ce mă prigonesc. Tuturor celor ce mă prigonesc. Poate Absalom şi tovarăşii lui. 6:8 Depărtaţi-vă de la mine, toţi cei ce faceţi răul! Căci Domnul a auzit glasul plângerii mele! Depărtaţi-vă de la mine. Trecerea de la necaz la alinare nu e treptată, ci imediată. Lumina izbucneşte în întuneric, ca şi când soarele s-ar fi aprins dintr-odată în întunericul unui miez de noapte fără lună. Credinţa biruieşte. Prin credinţă, văzându-şi vrăjmaşii împrăştiaţi, psalmistul le porunceşte să plece. Aceasta este credinţa în acţiune. Dumnezeu răspunde uneori rugăciunilor noastre înainte ca noi să încetăm a ne ruga (vezi Isaia 65,24). Domnul a auzit. Dumnezeu ascultă strigătul suferinţei şi îl consideră o rugăciune sinceră a sufletului. Cuvintele nu sunt esenţiale în rugăciune. Lacrimile pot să exprime chinul sufletului omenesc ce nu se poate demonstra prin cuvinte. 6:9 Domnul îmi ascultă cererile, şi Domnul îmi primeşte rugăciunea! Domnul îmi ascultă. Cât de natural e pentru un suflet credincios să devină tot mai puternic prin repetare gândurilor de asigurare şi de bucurie. Psalmistul scoate în evidenţă bucuria din v. 8. Îmi primeşte. Întrucât Dumnezeu a auzit rugăciunea lui, psalmistul se odihneşte fără teamă, ştiind că Dumnezeu va asculta. 6:10 Toţi vrăjmaşii mei vor fi acoperiţi de ruşine, şi cuprinşi de spaimă; într-o clipă vor da înapoi, acoperiţi de ruşine. Cuprinşi de spaimă. Ebr. bahal, cuvântul tradus "tremură" în v. 2 şi "îngrozit" în v.3. Psalmistul se roagă ca vrăjmaşii lui - vrăjmaşii lui Dumnezeu - să fie făcuţi de ruşine în planurile lor. E potrivit să se înalţe rugăciuni ca uneltirile oamenilor răi să fie zădărnicite. Într-o clipă. Cu cât planurile oamenilor răi sunt nimicite mai curând cu atât mai bine. Psalmistul se roagă ca vrăjmaşii săi să dea înapoi la dejucarea planurilor lor. Psalmul 6 ar trebui să aducă o mângâiere specială celui care este lovit de o suferinţă puternică, aparent nevindecabilă, fie ea fizică sau sufletească. "Rugăciunea schimbă lucrurile." Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
