48:1 Mare este Domnul şi lăudat de toţi, în cetatea Dumnezeului nostru, pe muntele Lui cel sfânt. INTRODUCERE. - Ca şi Psalmii 46 şi 47, Psalmul 48 este o cântare de eliberare, menit să fie folosit probabil la serviciul de închinare de la Templu. El laudă purtarea de grijă a lui Iehova faţă de Ierusalim şi eliberarea poporului Său din mâna vrăjmaşului. Psalmul 48 este unul dintre poemele cele mai vesele ale lui David (vezi PK 203). El a fost cântat de oştirile lui Iosafat după o biruinţă însemnată (vezi PK 201-203). Cu privire la preambul vezi p. 617, 627. 1. Mare. David începe aducând laudă lui Iehova, care S-a dovedit un eliberator dintr-o mare primejdie (v. 4-8). Cetatea. Ierusalimul (vezi Psalm 46,4; 48,8). Muntele. Muntele Sion (vezi Psalm 2,6; 68,16; vezi la Psalm 18,2). 48:2 Frumoasă înălţime, bucuria întregului pământ, este muntele Sionului; în partea de miazănoapte este cetatea Marelui Împărat. Frumoasă înălţime. [Frumoasă aşezare, KJV]. Mai potrivit, "înălţime". Aşezarea pe un loc înalt a Ierusalimului, deasupra ţinuturilor dimprejur, este poate lucrul cel mai impresionant al topografiei lui. Cetatea se află crestele cele mai înalte din ţară. Poziţia lui înălţată făcuseră probabil pe năvălitori să se teamă să-l atace (vezi v. 4.5). Bucuria întregului pământ. O expresie hiperbolică a poetului cu privire la respectul lui patriotic pentru capitala naţiunii sale (vezi Psalm 50,2; Plângeri 2,15). În partea de miazănoapte. Sensul exact al acestei expresii nu e cu totul clar, deşi explicaţia următoare pare rezonabilă. La origine, muntele Sion reprezenta doar partea cetăţii cucerite de la iebusiţi (2 Cronici 5,2; cf. 2 Samuel 5,7). Muntele Moria se află la nord de muntele Sion, şi pe acest munte din nord au fost înălţate mai târziu Templul şi Palatul lui Solomon (2 Cronici 3,1; cf. 1 Regi 8,1). Din punct de vedere geografic, cele două înălţimi alcătuiesc un singur lanţ. După construirea Templului, întregul lanţ muntos a ajuns să fie cunoscut sub numele de Sion (vezi Isaia 8,18; Ioel 3,17). Datorită prezenţei sanctuarului şi a palatului pe partea de nord a lanţului în timpul lui Solomon, partea de nord a devenit zona cea mai importantă a cetăţii. Prin urmare, prin expresia "partea de miazănoapte" psalmistul poate că a încercat să descrie figurat sediul conducerii civile şi religioase şi îndeosebi locaşul lui Dumnezeu, aşa cum arată contextul psalmului. Interpretarea aceasta aruncă lumină şi asupra textului din Isaia 14,13, unde Satana este reprezentat ca aspirând să stea "la capătul miazănoaptei". A ocupa o asemenea poziţie însemna a participa la sfaturile lui Dumnezeu şi a avea acces la planurile divine. Aceasta era exact ambiţia lui Lucifer (vezi PP 37). Întrucât David a fost autorul Psalmului 48 (vezi introducerea la Psalm 48), orice importanţă pe care el a dat-o înălţimii nordice Moria a fost o anticipare profetică, sau în caz contrar a compus psalmul acesta după ce fuseseră terminate planurile detaliate ale Templului, inclusiv determinarea locului (2 Cronici 3,1). Cetatea Marelui Împărat. Vezi la Psalmul 46,9. Isus citează expresia aceasta ca un titlu dat Ierusalimului (Matei 5,35). 48:3 Dumnezeu, în casele Lui împărăteşti, este cunoscut ca un turn de scăpare. Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 48:4 Căci iată că împăraţii se adunaseră: doar au trecut împreună, Se adunaseră. Versetele 4 la 6 descriu în mod plastic marşul şi nimicirea grabnică ale unei oştiri vrăjmaşe. Limbajul este extrem de comprimat. Numărul mic al conjuncţiilor din versetele 4 şi 5 amplifică forţa descrierii (vezi la Psalm 46,6). 48:5 au privit-o, au înlemnit, s-au temut, şi au luat-o la fugă. Au luat-o la fugă. Vrăjmaşul a privit spre cetatea inexpugnabilă, şi-a dat seama că nu o poate cuceri, au văzut că propria lui siguranţă era în primejdie şi a fugit cât a putut de repede. 48:6 I-a apucat un tremur acolo, ca durerea unei femei la facere. La facere. Asemănarea aceasta, care indică o durere foarte mare, este frecventă în VT (vezi Ieremia 4,31; 6,24; Mica 4,9.10). 48:7 Au fost izgoniţi de parcă ar fi fost luaţi de vântul de răsărit, care sfărâmă corăbiile din Tarsis. Corăbiile din Tarsis. O a doua comparaţie pentru a arăta puterea lui Dumnezeu manifestată în învălmăşeala şi împrăştierea inamicului. Tarsis este de obicei identificat cu clasicul Tartessus din sudul Spaniei, la nord de Cadix. Expresia "corăbiile de Tarsis" pare să fi fost folosită pentru orice corabie capabilă să navigheze la Tartessus, acum pare să fie folosită peste folosit port Tartessus. Aşa cum o furtună sfărâma aceste vase puternice, tot aşa şi Dumnezeu îl nimiceşte pe vrăjmaş. 48:8 Întocmai cum auzisem spunându-se, aşa am văzut în cetatea Domnului oştirilor, în cetatea Dumnezeului nostru: Dumnezeu o va face să dăinuiască pe vecie. Cum auzisem. Părinţii noştri ne-au povestit de minunile izbăvirii din trecut săvârşite de Dumnezeu. Acum am văzut cu proprii noştri ochi. Domnului oştirilor. Vezi la Psalm 24.10. Cetatea Dumnezeului nostru. Vezi la v. 1; cf. Psalm 46,4. Dumnezeu va face să dăinuiască. Izbăvirea prezentă e o garanţie a biruinţei viitoare. Pe vecie. Compară PK 46, 564; DA 577. Oprire. [Selah, KJV]. Vezi p. 629. 48:9 Dumnezeule, la bunătatea Ta ne gândim, în mijlocul Templului Tău! Bunătatea. Ebr. chesed, "dragoste divină" (vezi la Psalm 36,7). Ne gândim. Literal, "am comparat". Templului Tău. Vezi la Psalm 5,7. Frecventarea casei lui Dumnezeu tinde să ne îndrepte gândurile spre Dumnezeu. 48:10 Ca şi Numele Tău, Dumnezeule, şi lauda Ta răsună până la marginile pământului; dreapta Ta este plină de îndurare. Numele Tău. Aşa cum Numele lui Dumnezeu este cunoscut până la marginile pământului, tot atât de departe trebuie să ajungă şi lauda Lui. 48:11 Se bucură muntele Sionului, şi se înveselesc fiicele lui Iuda de judecăţile Tale. Muntele Sionului. Vezi la v. 2. Fiicele lui Iuda. Probabil folosit aici în mod simbolic, cu privire la cetăţile lui Iuda (vezi Iosua 15,45). 48:12 Străbateţi Sionul, şi ocoliţi-l, număraţi-i turnurile, Ocoliţi-l. Cu scopul de a cerceta şi a admira cetatea pe care Dumnezeu o scăpase de vrăjmaşi printr-o uimitoare manifestare a puterii Sale. Număraţi-i. [Spuneţi, KJV]. Sau "socotiţi-i". Dumnezeul acesta. Dumnezeul care-Şi făcuse sălaşul în cetate şi o apărase împotriva vrăjmaşului. Până la moarte. Dumnezeu va fi călăuza noastră pe tot parcursul vieţii. El ne va însoţi chiar până la sfârşit. Dacă creştinul are siguranţa aceasta, nu are de ce să se teamă. Păstorul Îşi va călăuzi turma până în veşnicie (vezi Psalm 23,6). Nu se ştie sigur dacă expresia ebraică 'al-muth e redată corect redată "până la moarte". Cuvântul s-ar putea să fie un termen muzical (cf. Muth-labben, Psalm 9 preambul; vezi p. 628, 658). Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
