39:1 Ziceam: Voi veghea asupra căilor mele, ca să nu păcătuiesc cu limba; îmi voi pune frâu gurii, cât va sta cel rău înaintea mea. INTRODUCERE - Psalmul 39 este o elegie de penitenţă pe care Ewald a numit-o "cea mai frumoasă dintre elegiile Psalmilor". El este exprimarea impresionantă a unui suflet care nu este în stare la să-şi spună durerea. Incapabil să-şi reprime mereu frământările inimii, în final, psalmistul îşi revarsă inima înaintea lui Dumnezeu. În psalmul acesta există doar o singură licărire de lumină, mărturisirea de credinţă: "În Tine îmi este nădejdea" (v. 7). Ca şi Iov, psalmistul este preocupat de problema suferinţei sub conducerea unui Dumnezeu bun.. Cu privire la preambul vezi p. 616, 627. 1. Ziceam. [Am zis, KJV]. David s-a hotărât să nu greşească în vorbire (vezi Iacov 3,2; cf. Iov 2,10). Frâu. Ebr. machsom, "botniţă", de la rădăcina chasam, tradus "lege" ["a pune botniţă", KJV] în Deuteronom 25,4. Compară cu Iacov 3,2-4. Înaintea mea. Psalmistul nu dorea ca plângerea lui să-l facă pe cei nelegiuit şi mai ostili faţă de Dumnezeu (vezi Psalm 73,15). Oamenii răi întrebuinţează greşit şi interpretează greşit îndoielile noastre. 39:2 Am stat mut, în tăcere; am tăcut, măcar că eram nenorocit; şi totuşi durerea mea nu era mai puţin mare. Mut. Compară cu Psalm 38,13. Nu era mai puţin mare. [Era aţâţată, KJV]. Este posibil ca sentimentele reprimate să se amplificate (vezi Ieremia 20,9). Exprimarea lor aduce uşurare. 39:3 Îmi ardea inima în mine, un foc lăuntric mă mistuia; şi atunci mi-a venit cuvântul pe limbă, şi am zis: Atunci am zis. În cele din urmă, focul sentimentelor sale adunate s-a aprins, iar el a rupt tăcerea. Versetele 4-13 sunt expresia sentimentelor sale, care sunt doar prezentate în v. 1-3. 39:4 Doamne, spune-mi care este sfârşitul vieţii mele, care este măsura zilelor mele, ca să ştiu cât de trecător sunt. Sfârşitul. Natura frământărilor din mintea psalmistului este expusă în partea întâi a acestui verset. Psalmistul doreşte să înţeleagă în mod corespunzător scurtimea şi incertitudinea vieţii omeneşti, pentru ca să poată afla odihnă în siguranţa purtării de grijă a lui Dumnezeu. Cât de trecător sunt. [Cât de slab sunt, KJV]. Compară cu Iov 3. 39:5 Iată că zilele mele sunt cât un lat de mână, şi viaţa mea este ca o nimica înaintea Ta. Da, orice om este doar o suflare, oricât de bine s-ar ţine. Cât un lat de mână. Literal "ca lăţimea de mână", care înseamnă, evident, câteva zile. Latul de palmă era una din mică dintre măsuri, fiind egală cu aproximativ 7,4 cm (vezi vol. I, p. 165). Viaţa. [Vârsta, KJV]. Ebr. cheled, aici durata vieţii. Compară cu Psalm 90,4-6. Oricât de bine s-ar ţinea. Literal, "stând tare". Viaţa este atât de scurtă şi noi realizăm atât de puţin în timpul scurtei noastre vieţi, încât este natural ca noi toţi să ne întrebăm câteodată de ce ne-a făcut Dumnezeu aşa. Oprire. [Selah, KJV]. Vezi p. 629. 39:6 Da, omul umblă ca o umbră, se frământă degeaba, strânge la comori, şi nu ştie cine le va lua. Umbră. Ebr. selem, "chip", aici un chip trecător. Se frământă degeaba. Omul este neastâmpărat, plin de nelinişte, activ, dar ce realizează (vezi Iacov 4,13.14)? Strânge la comori. Psalmistul vede fantomele numite oameni cum cheltuiesc cea mai mare parte a energiilor adunând comori şi în acelaşi timp recunoscând că ei nu au control asupra averilor după moarte (vezi Iov 27,16-19; Ecl. 2,18.21). 39:7 Acum, Doamne, ce mai pot nădăjdui eu? În Tine îmi este nădejdea Acum. Are loc o bruscă trecere de la ideea zădărniciei vieţii prezente a omului la cea că Dumnezeu este izvorul speranţelor omului. Aceasta este singurul licăr de lumină din cadrul elegiei. 39:8 Izbăveşte-mă de toate fărădelegile mele! Nu mă face de ocara celui nebun! De toate fărădelegile mele. Psalmistul crede că iertarea va aduce izbăvire din necaz, deoarece consideră că necazul este rezultatul fărădelegii. Nebun. Ebr. nabal, tradus deseori "nebun" (2 Samuel 3,33; Psalm 14,1; 53,1; etc.). Psalmistul ţine la onoarea lui Dumnezeu. El crede că dacă Dumnezeu nu-l scapă, va fi de ocara pentru cel care nu se teme de Dumnezeu şi care se va bucura de dovada vizibilă că pe Dumnezeu nu-L interesează soarta omului. 39:9 Stau mut, nu deschid gura, căci Tu lucrezi. Mut. Compară cu v. 2. Căci Tu lucrezi. Psalmistul a încercat să-şi rezolve problema printr-o supunere oarbă faţă de voinţa lui Dumnezeu. Mulţi încearcă să rezolve problema suferinţei în acelaşi fel. Ei încearcă să se convingă că dacă Dumnezeu trimite pedeapsă, ea trebuie să fie dreaptă şi bună. Ca şi psalmistul, ei nu înţeleg adevărata raţiune a suferinţei (vezi Psalm 38,3). În loc să-L recunoască pe Satana ca adevăratul autor al bolii şi suferinţei şi pe Dumnezeu ca pe Cel care combate uneltirile vrăjmaşului spre binele celui în cauză (vezi DA 471), ei consideră că boala şi moartea vin de la Dumnezeu, ca pedeapsă aplicată în mod tiranic din cauza fărădelegii. 39:10 Abate-Ţi loviturile de la mine! Îmi iese sufletul sub loviturile mâinii Tale. A bate. E potrivit să ne rugăm ca loviturile vrăjmaşului să fie îndepărtate (vezi 2 Corinteni 12,8), dar ar trebui să ne supunem deplin voinţei lui Dumnezeu (vezi Luca 22,42). Numai Dumnezeu poate să judece cazul având în vedere toate aspectele marii lupte implicate în cazul respectiv. Este responsabilitatea să îndepărtăm orice obstacol din calea planurilor pe care le are cerul pentru noi şi apoi să lăsăm rezultatele pe seama lui Dumnezeu. Dacă loviturile nu sunt înlăturate, ar trebui să spunem împreună cu Pavel: "Mă voi lăuda mult mai bucuros cu slăbiciunile mele, pentru ca puterea lui Hristos să rămână în mine" (2 Corinteni 12,9). Loviturile. Ebr. nega' (vezi la Psalm 38,11). 39:11 Tu pedepseşti pe om, şi-l loveşti pentru fărădelegea lui: îi prăpădeşti, ca molia, ce are el mai scump. Da, orice om este doar o suflare. Îl loveşti. Vezi la Psalm 38,3. Ca molia. Vezi Isaia 51,8; Osea 5,12. Oprire. [Selah, KJV]. Vezi p. 629. 39:12 Ascultă-mi rugăciunea, Doamne, şi pleacă-Ţi urechea la strigătele mele! Nu tăcea în faţa lacrimilor mele! Căci sunt un străin înaintea Ta, un pribeag, ca toţi părinţii mei. În faţa lacrimilor mele. Versetele 12 şi 13 descriu cererea finală a psalmistului. Străin. Compară cu Genesa 15,13; Exod 2,22. Pribeag. Ebr. toshab, "cineva care se aşează într-o ţară pentru o anumită perioadă, dar nu devine cetăţeanul ei". (vezi 1 Cronici 29,15). Cu toţi părinţii mei. Vezi Genesa 47,9; Evrei 11,13-15. 39:13 Abate-Ţi privirea de la mine, şi lasă-mă să răsuflu, până nu mă duc şi să nu mai fiu! Mută-ţi privirile de la mine. [Cruţă-mă, KJV]. Literal, "întoarce-ţi privirea de la mine". Nu continua să mă faci să sufăr. În contrast cu rugăciunea obişnuită ca Dumnezeu să privească spre el şi să-l ajute, psalmistul se roagă acum ca Dumnezeu să binevoiască să îndepărteze ceea ce pentru el sunt priviri aducătoare de pedeapsă. Să răsuflu. [Să prind iarăşi putere, KJV]. Literal, "să se lumineze faţa". Nu mai fiu. Compară cu Psalm 6,5; Iov 14,1-12. Psalmul se sfârşeşte într-o notă de întristare profundă, susţinând unitatea de idei aproape neîntreruptă a elegiei (vezi v. 7).COMENTARIILE LUI ELLEN G. Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
