31:1 Doamne, în Tine mă încred: să nu fiu dat de ruşine niciodată. Izbăveşte-mă, în dreptatea Ta! INTRODUCERE -Psalmul 31 este o rugăciune sinceră pentru izbăvire din necaz, amestecată cu o sinceră încredere în puterea lui Dumnezeu de a izbăvi. El e caracterizat printr-o pleiadă de bogate figuri de stil care descriu necazul celui asuprit şi speranţa care vine în vreme de necaz . Acesta era psalmul favorit al lui Huss, al lui Luther şi al lui Melanchton. Cu privire la preambul, vezi p. 616, 627. 1. Mă încred. [îmi pun încrederea, KJV].Vezi Psalm 7,1. Versetele 1-3 sunt asemănătoare cu cele din Psalmul 71,1-3. Dat de ruşine. Compară cu Psalm 25,2. 31:2 Pleacă-Ţi urechea spre mine, grăbeşte de-mi ajută! Fii pentru mine o stâncă ocrotitoare, o cetăţuie unde să-mi găsesc scăparea! Pleacă-ţi urechea. Vezi Psalm 17,6. Stâncă. Ebr. şur (vezi Psalm 18,2). 31:3 Căci Tu eşti Stânca mea, Cetăţuia mea, şi, pentru Numele Tău, mă vei povăţui şi mă vei călăuzi. Stânca. Ebr. sela? (vezi Psalm 18,2). Pentru Numele Tău. Adică pentru sau de dragul reputaţiei Tale sau din pricina caracterului Tău. Expresia aceasta este plină de însemnătate. Spusă cu sinceritate în rugăciune arată că solicitantul se pleacă înaintea voinţei divine şi e gata ca problemele vieţii sale personale să fie cuprinse în programul mai cuprinzător al lui Dumnezeu. El îşi dă seama că onoarea lui Dumnezeu e în joc în toate acţiunile cârmuirii divine şi crede că Dumnezeu ar fi dezonorat dacă cererea prezentă ar fi respinsă. Dumnezeu este legat să răspundă unei astfel de rugăciune, dar numai într-un fel care ar fi în armonie cu voinţa divină, întrucât tot ceea ce face El este o manifestare a caracterului Lui neschimbător. A se ruga "pentru Numele Tău", când elementele rugăciunii ascultate nu au fost împlinite, este o încumetare. E în fapt o cerere ca Dumnezeu să nu răspundă la rugăciune. Un răspuns favorabil în asemenea împrejurări ar aduce dezonoare numelui lui Dumnezeu şi ar tăgădui Cuvântul Lui. 31:4 Scoate-mă din laţul, pe care mi l-au întins vrăjmaşii. Căci Tu eşti Ocrotitorul meu! Pe care mi l-au întins. [Pe ascuns, KJV]. O capcană de animal era aşezată astfel încât animalul sălbatic să nu poată vedea ce i s-a pregătit. 31:5 În mâinile Tale îmi încredinţez duhul: Tu mă vei izbăvi, Doamne, Dumnezeule adevărate! Duhul. Ebr. ruach, principiu dătător de viaţă, energia care vine de la Dumnezeu şi însufleţeşte corpul. La moarte, stă scris că duhul merge la Dumnezeu (vezi Eclesiastul 12,7; Fapte 7,59). Totuşi, starea aceasta nu e conştientă (Psalm 146,4). Cuvintele psalmistului au fost cele din urmă cuvinte ale lui Isus pe cruce (vezi Luca 23,46; cf. Fapte 7,59); se spune că acestea au fost şi ultimele cuvinte ale lui Bernard, Huss, Luther, Melanchton şi ale multor altor slujitori ai lui Dumnezeu. Şi noi, la fel, în ceasul încercării, putem fără frică să încredinţăm cazul nostru lui Dumnezeu. Tu mă vei izbăvi. Mărturia trecutului, asigurarea prezentului, garanţia viitorului. 31:6 Eu urăsc pe cei ce se lipesc de idoli deşerţi, şi mă încred în Domnul. Eu urăsc. LXX, Siriaca şi un manuscris ebraic traduc: "tu ai urât". Idoli deşerţi. [Deşertăciuni mincinoase, KJV]. Probabil este vorba despre idoli, ca şi concepte ale deşertăciunii. Prin contrast, psalmistul se încrede în Dumnezeu (v. 5). 31:7 Fă-mă să mă înveselesc şi să mă bucur de îndurarea Ta, căci vezi ticăloşia mea, ştii neliniştea sufletului meu, Sufletului meu. Folosit idiomatic în loc de pronumele "meu" (vezi Psalm 16,10). 31:8 şi nu mă vei da în mâinile vrăjmaşului, ci îmi vei pune picioarele la loc larg. Nu mă vei da. Vezi Deuteronom 32,30. Loc larg. [Într-o încăpere mare, KJV]. Mai bine "un loc încăpător" (vezi Psalm 4,1; 18,19) 31:9 Ai milă de mine, Doamne, căci sunt în strâmtorare: faţa, sufletul, şi trupul mi s-au topit de întristare; Ai milă de mine. În v. 9-13, psalmistul se întoarce de la declaraţia plină de putere a credinţei în Dumnezeu la exprimarea zguduitoare a suferinţelor lui actuale. În suferinţa lui se zbate între nădejde şi deznădejde. Pare să zică "cazul meu e unul special" (vezi Psalm 6). Trupul. [Pântecele, KJV]. Referire la suferinţa fizică. "Sufletul" sugerează un necaz sufletesc. Aici pare să fie cel puţin o recunoaştere parţială a legăturii dintre minte şi trup. Compară cu importanţa actuală a laturii psihosomatice în diagnosticarea şi tratarea bolii şi accentul contemporan asupra psihiatriei. 31:10 mi se sfârşeşte viaţa în durere, şi anii în suspine. Mi s-au sleit puterile din pricina fărădelegii mele, şi-mi putrezesc oasele! Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 31:11 Din pricina potrivnicilor mei, am ajuns de ocară, de mare ocară pentru vecinii mei, şi de groază pentru prietenii mei; cei ce mă văd pe uliţă, fug de mine. Ocară. Cu descrierea lepădării de către societate din v. 11, 12 compară Iov 16,20; 19,13-19; vezi la Psalm 22,7. 31:12 Sunt uitat de inimi ca un mort, am ajuns ca un vas sfărâmat. Ca un mort. El fusese cu totul uitat de tovarăşii lui. Poate că a fi cu totul uitat este şi mai rău decât a fi dispreţuit (vezi Psalm 88,4.5). 31:13 Aud vorbele rele ale multora, văd spaima care domneşte împrejur, când se sfătuiesc ei împreună împotriva mea, şi uneltesc să-mi ia viaţa. Vorbele rele. Sau "şoptiri", "vorbire de rău". Spaima. Ebr. magor, "teroare" (compară cu folosirea lui în Isaia 31,9; Ieremia 6,25; 20,3-10; 46,5). O exclamaţie care indică frica intensă a psalmistului faţă de oricine şi de orice întâlnea (vezi Ieremia 20,10). 31:14 Dar eu mă încred în Tine, Doamne, şi zic: Tu eşti Dumnezeul meu! Eu mă încred. Versetele 14-18 sunt o expresie de mare încredere în care, în ciuda chinului sufletesc exprimat în v. 9-13, psalmistul zice: "Tu eşti Dumnezeul meu". Acesta e triumful credinţei. 31:15 Soarta mea este în mâna Ta; scapă-mă de vrăjmaşii şi de prigonitorii mei! Soarta mea. [Timpurile mele, KJV]. Evenimentele felurite ale vieţii. "A noastre vremi în mâna Aceluia Ce zice: ‚un tot am pregătit; Doar jumătate prezintă tinereţea. Te-ncrede-n Dumnezeu, Vezi tot şi nu te-nspăimânta!' " - Robert Browning "Rabbi Ben Ezra" Rugăciunea ne împrospătează credinţa şi încrederea. Supunerea aşează cazul nostru cu totul în mâinile lui Dumnezeu. 31:16 Fă să lumineze Faţa Ta peste robul Tău, scapă-mă, prin îndurarea Ta! Fă să lumineze Faţa Ta. Compară cu binecuvântarea aaronică (Numeri 6,25; vezi Psalm 4,6). 31:17 Doamne, să nu rămân de ruşine când Te chem. Ci să rămână de ruşine cei răi, şi ei să se pogoare muţi în locuinţa morţilor! Să nu rămân de ruşine. Compară cu Psalm 25,2 Muţi. Adică, "morţi". Ideea e continuată în v. 18. Locuinţa morţilor. [Mormânt, KJV]. Ebr. she'ol (vezi Proverbe 15,11). 31:18 Să amuţească buzele mincinoase, care vorbesc cu îndrăzneală, cu trufie şi dispreţ împotriva celui neprihănit! Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 31:19 O, cât de mare este bunătatea Ta, pe care o păstrezi pentru cei ce se tem de Tine, şi pe care o arăţi celor ce se încred în Tine, în faţa fiilor oamenilor! Cât de mare. În v. 19-24, speranţa care pare să fie firul de aur care străbate descrierea suferinţei în psalm, acum înfloreşte într-o garanţie triumfătoare, iar psalmistul se înălţă pe culmile laudei. În faţa. Sau "sub privirile". 31:20 Tu îi ascunzi, la adăpostul Feţei Tale, de cei ce-i prigonesc, îi ocroteşti în cortul Tău de limbile care-i clevetesc. La adăpostul. [În taina, KJV]. Literal, "în ascunzişul" (vezi Psalm 27,5). Expresia lui Milton "întunecos de prea multă lumină" arată cum cineva poate fi ascuns în lumină. Limbile care-i clevetesc. [Cearta limbilor, KJV]. Vorbire de rău (vezi v. 13). 31:21 Binecuvântat să fie Domnul, căci Şi-a arătat în chip minunat îndurarea faţă de mine: parc-aş fi fost într-o cetate întărită. Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 31:22 În pornirea mea nechibzuită, ziceam: Sunt izgonit dinaintea Ta! Dar Tu ai auzit glasul rugăciunilor mele, când am strigat spre Tine. Pornirea mea nechibzuită. [Graba mea, KJV]. Ebr. chaphaz, care în general înseamnă "a da fuga" la un semnal de alarmă sau din cauza spaimei. Compară cu folosirea lui în Deuteronom 20,3; 2 Samuel 4,4. Într-un singur moment de confuzie, psalmistul a ajuns la disperare, tânguindu-se că se afla pe pragul morţii. Satana prinde asemenea momente pentru a produce descurajare. 31:23 Iubiţi dar pe Domnul, toţi cei iubiţi de El. Căci Domnul păzeşte pe cei credincioşi, şi pedepseşte aspru pe cei mândri. Iubiţi, dar, pe Domnul. Psalmistul îi invită pe toţi copiii lui Dumnezeu să se unească cu el în devoţiune faţă de Dumnezeu. El îşi întemeiază apelul pe experienţa lui de încredere în Cel Atotputernic în vremuri grele (vezi Psalm 30,4). 31:24 Fiţi tari, şi îmbărbătaţi-vă inima, toţi cei ce nădăjduiţi în Domnul! Fiţi tari. [Aveţi curaj, KJV]. Vezi Psalm 27,14. Nădăjduiţi în Domnul. Literal, "aşteptaţi pe Domnul". Nădejdea şi aşteptarea merg mână în mână pe calea creştină. Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
