4:1 Căci iată, vine ziua, care va arde ca un cuptor! Toţi cei trufaşi şi toţi cei răi, vor fi ca miriştea; ziua care vine îi va arde, zice Domnul oştirilor, şi nu le va lăsa nici rădăcină nici ramură. Vine ziua. Profetul le dă o solemnă asigurare acelora care întreabă: ,,Unde este Dumnezeul dreptăţii (judecăţii)?” (cap. 2,17) că vine o zi în care Dumnezeu va face judecată şi dreptate asupra tuturor nelegiuiţilor. Aceasta este ,,ziua Domnului” din Ioel 1,15; 2,1; Amos 5,18.20; Ţefania 2,1-3; etc. Pentru discuţie vezi comentariul la Isaia 13,6; 2Petru 3,10-12. Va arde. Judecata finală a lui Dumnezeu asupra celor nelegiuiţi este distrugerea definitivă prin foc (vezi Apocalipsa 20,9; vezi comentariul la Ezechiel 28,16-19). Trufaşi. Păcatul mândriei este deosebit de ofensator pentru Dumnezeu şi este singurul care este menţionat aici pe nume de către Maleahi. Miriştea. Nu putea fi folosit un limbaj mai puternic pentru a arăta deplina nimicire a celor nelegiuiţi. Ei nu vor suferi veşnic aşa cum se crede adesea în mod eronat, ci vor fi mistuiţi la fel de repede ca şi ,,miriştea” (vezi Psalmi 37,10.20; Isaia 5,24). Îi va arde. Scripturile nu ştiu nimic despre erezia populară a unui iad arzând veşnic. Nelegiuiţii nu continuă să ardă la nesfârşit; focul zilei de pe urmă ,,îi va arde” faptic. Vezi comentariul la Ieremia 17,27; Matei 3,12; 25,41; 2Petru 3,7-13; Iuda 7. Nici rădăcină, nici ramură. O imagine izbitoare arătând anihilarea deplină a păcatului şi a păcătoşilor (vezi comentariul la Naum 1,9). Satana, reprezentat ca ,,rădăcina”, sau începătorul răului, împreună cu urmaşii săi, reprezentanţi prin ramuri, sunt cu toţii pe deplin nimiciţi (vezi Psalmi 37,38). 4:2 Dar pentru voi, care vă temeţi de Numele Meu, va răsări Soarele neprihănirii, şi tămăduirea va fi sub aripile Lui; veţi ieşi, şi veţi sări ca viţeii din grajd. Soarele neprihănirii. O imagine expresivă a lui Hristos ca ,,lumina lumii” (Ioan 8,12; vezi Ioan 1,4) şi Izvorul neprihănirii noastre (vezi Ieremia 23,6; 1Corinteni 1,30; 2Corinteni 5,21; Filipeni 3,9). Hristos este întotdeauna gata să aducă lumină spirituală poporului Său în vremuri de nevoie. În sensul acesta se poate spune că ,,Soarele neprihănirii” a răsărit la prima venire a lui Hristos (vezi DA 261) şi va ,,răsări” într-un sens special în vremea de mare întuneric moral imediat înainte de a doua Sa venire (vezi PK 716, 717). Veţi sări. Ebr. push, ,,a sări încoace şi încolo”, sau ,,a călca în picioare terenul (jucăuş)”. Cei răscumpăraţi sunt înfăţişaţi sărind de bucurie pentru rezultatul final al dreptăţii şi iubirii lui Dumnezeu (vezi GC 673). Viţeii din grajd. Ebr. ’egle marbeq, ,,viţeii îngrăşaţi [?].” Sensul exact al textului ebraic este incert. RSV spune: ,,viţeii din grajd”. LXX zice ,,viţeluşi dezlegaţi”. 4:3 Şi veţi călca în picioare pe cei răi, căci ei vor fi ca cenuşa sub talpa picioarelor voastre, în ziua pe care o pregătesc Eu, zice Domnul oştirilor. Călca în picioare. Drepţii sunt înfăţişaţi ca în sfârşit biruitori asupra celor nelegiuiţi. Vezi comentariul la Isaia 66,24. În ziua. Vezi comentariul la v. 1. Domnul oştirilor. Vezi comentariul la Ieremia 7,3. 4:4 Aduceţi-vă aminte de legea lui Moise, robul Meu, căruia i-am dat în Horeb, rânduieli şi porunci, pentru tot Israelul! Aduceţi-vă aminte. Maleahi îşi încheie profeţia cu un îndemn adresat poporului său de a asculta de Dumnezeu. Ascultarea omului trebuie să preceadă binecuvântarea Dumnezeu. Este semnificativ că profetul care încheie Vechiul Testament accentuează necesitatea şi importanţa păzirii instrucţiunilor lui Dumnezeu către poporul Lui date pe muntele ,,Horeb” (vezi Levitic 26; Deuteronom 28). Mai este semnificativ şi faptul că ,,Legea lui Moise” urma să joace un rol important în ajutorarea poporului de a se pregăti pentru ziua Domnului. Moise, robul Meu. Evident că el este menţionat în special pentru că el fusese ,,mijlocitorul” (vezi Galateni 3,19; Deuteronom 6,5) prin care au fost date la Sinai instrucţiunile lui Dumnezeu, ,,rânduielile şi poruncile” Lui (vezi Exod 24,12-18; Neemia 10,29). 4:5 Iată, vă voi trimite pe prorocul Ilie, înainte de a veni ziua Domnului, ziua aceea mare şi înfricoşată. Proorocul Ilie. Profeţia aceasta i-a determinat pe mulţi iudei din timpurile care au urmat să aştepte o reîntoarcere pe pământ a lui Ilie însuşi (vezi Ioan 1,21). Totuşi, aceasta este o profeţie cu privire la cineva care va veni în ,,duhul şi puterea” lui Ilie (Luca 1,17), adică, cineva care va predica o solie asemănătoare cu aceea a lui Ilie. Înainte de prima venire a lui Hristos, lucrarea aceasta a fost făcută de Ioan Botezătorul (Matei 17,12.13; Luca 1,16.17; vezi comentariul la Maleahi 3,1), iar înainte de a doua venire a lui Hristos o lucrare asemănătoare va fi făcută de aceia care prezintă lumii cele trei solii îngereşti. Pentru o discuţie mai amănunţită, vezi comentariul la 1Regi 18,19-44; Matei 3,3.4; 11,14. Ziua Domnului. Vezi comentariul la Isaia 13,6. 4:6 El va întoarce inima părinţilor spre copii, şi inima copiilor spre părinţii lor, ca nu cumva, la venirea Mea, să lovesc ţara cu blestem! Întoarce inima. Solia prezisă aici va fi un mesaj care va duce la o pocăinţă autentică, iar mulţi se vor întoarce ,,la Domnul, Dumnezeul lor” (Luca 1,16). Vezi comentariul la Maleahi 3,7. Copii. Literal, ,,fii”, o referire la copiii literali ai lui Israel dintre care mulţi se vor întoarce la adevărata credinţă a părinţilor lor, patriarhii. Pentru alte detalii, vezi comentariul la Luca 1,16.17. Blestem. Ebr. cheŕem, ,,un lucru dat spre nimicire” (vezi comentariul la Iosua 7,12; 1Samuel 15,21). Vechiul Testament se încheie cu această avertizare solemnă. Aceia care nu se pocăiesc sincer urmează să fie puşi la un loc cu nelegiuiţii şi să le împărtăşească soarta (cap. 4,1). Totuşi, Maleahi prezintă o solie de nădejde, deoarece acelaşi Dumnezeu care îl nimiceşte pe vinovat aduce o ,,vindecare” veşnică (v. 2) celui pocăit. COMENTARIILE LUI ELLEN G. Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
