35:1 Elihu a luat din nou cuvântul, şi a zis: Elihu a luat din nou cuvântul. Vezi la cap. 32:2 35:2 Îţi închipui că ai dreptate, şi crezi că te îndreptăţeşti înaintea lui Dumnezeu, Te îndreptăţeşti înaintea lui Dumnezeu. [Dreptatea mea este mai multă decât a lui Dumnezeu, KJV]. Iov nu ridicase astfel de pretenţii. El pusese la îndoială dreptatea lui Dumnezeu (cap. 9:22-24;10:3;12:6), dar acuzaţia lui Elihu, aşa cum e redată aici, conţine un factor care depăşeşte tot ce a intenţionat Iov în cuvântările lui. 35:3 când zici: La ce-mi foloseşte, ce câştig am că nu păcătuiesc? La ce-mi foloseşte. Elihu neagă aici dreptul lui Iov de a susţine că un om drept poate să sufere la fel ca un păcătos. Un asemenea punct de vedere e la fel de supărător pentru el ca şi pentru cei trei prieteni. Totuşi, el trage concluzii nejustificate din afirmaţiile lui Iov. Acesta n-a susţinut că cei drepţi n-au, până în final, un avantaj în plus faţă de cei păcătoşi. Lucrul asupra căruia a insistat mult a fost că metodele Providenţei cu lumea aceasta nu erau totdeauna în acord cu caracterul oamenilor. 35:4 Îţi voi răspunde şi la aceasta, ţie, şi prietenilor tăi totodată. Voi răspunde. Răspunsul lui Elihu dezvoltă argumentul lui Elifaz din cap. 22:2.3. Prietenilor. [Tovarăşilor, KJV]. Ebr. re'im, tradus "prieteni" în cap, 2:11; 19:21; 42:7. Sunt scoşi în evidenţă cei trei prieteni ai lui Iov. 35:5 Uită-te spre ceruri, şi priveşte! Vezi norii, cât de sus sunt faţă de tine? Uită-te spre ceruri. Obiectivul afirmaţiei lui Elihu este acela de a arăta că Dumnezeu este aşa de mare, încât nu poate fi afectat de purtarea oamenilor. Măreţia lui Dumnezeu este ilustrată prin înălţimea şi grandoarea cerurilor şi a norilor. 35:6 Dacă păcătuieşti, ce rău Îi faci Lui? Şi când păcatele ţi se înmulţesc, ce-I faci Lui? Lui. Argumentul este că Dumnezeul care a creat cerurile nu este influenţat sau constrâns într-un fel oarecare de păcatul omului. Nu au de suferit nici persoana, nici demnitatea Lui. 35:7 Dacă eşti drept, ce-I dai Lui? Ce primeşte El din mâna ta? Ce-I dai Lui? Dimpotrivă, Elihu susţine că dreptatea omului nu poate aduce vreun folos lui Dumnezeu şi nici nu-L face pe Dumnezeu în vreun fel obligat faţă de om. 35:8 Răutatea ta nu poate vătăma decât semenului tău, dreptatea ta nu foloseşte decât fiului omului. Nu poate vătăma decât semenului tău. Potrivit cu raţionamentul lui Elihu, rezultatele nelegiuirii sau dreptăţii sunt simţite nu de Dumnezeu, ci de om. Dumnezeu este atât de departe de efectele păcatului sau ale neprihănirii, încât nu are de ce să abată de la o dreptate strictă. Aşadar, acolo unde ar trebui să existe răsplată, va fi, iar unde ar trebui să existe pedeapsă, va fi. Prin urmare, merită să fii drept. Dumnezeu e prea sus pentru a modifica lucrările cauzei şi ale efectului, care, după aprecierea lui Elihu, cer răsplată pentru cel drept şi pedeapsă pentru făcătorul de rele. Cu alte cuvinte, nelegiuirea sau dreptatea unui om îl afectează numai pe el, nu şi pe Dumnezeu. Teoria lui Elihu în această privinţă nu izbuteşte vadă strânsa legătură dintre Dumnezeu şi făpturile Sale. Elihu vede transcendenţa lui Dumnezeu, dar nu e în stare să vadă cât de aproape este El de făpturile Sale. Evanghelia prezintă în învăţătura ei un Dumnezeu care este afectat de ceea ce fac făpturile Lui şi care Se ocupă de ele în mod personal (Evrei. 4:15). 35:9 Oamenii strigă împotriva mulţimii apăsătorilor, se plâng de silnicia multora; Mulţimii apăsătorilor. Elihu se confruntă cu faptul real al asupririi. El nu putea tăgădui faptul că mulţimile strigau din pricina tratamentul la care erau supuşi de cei mai puternici decât ei. Unde îşi găsea loc acest fapt în cadrul filozofiei sa? Pentru ce aceşti oameni apăsaţi nu erau eliberaţi? 35:10 dar nici unul nu zice: Unde este Dumnezeu, Făcătorul meu, care ne insuflă cântări de veselie noaptea, Nici unul nu zice. Motivul de sfadă al lui Elihu este că cei apăsaţi continuă să sufere din cauză că se plâng în necazurile lor, dar nu-L cheamă pe Dumnezeu în mod corespunzător. Dacă ei s-ar apropia în felul acesta de Dumnezeu, El le-ar da "cântări de veselie noaptea" sau fericire în ceasul trist şi întunecat al necazului (vezi Psalm 30:5; 77:6; 90:14; 143:8). Partea slabă a acestei susţineri este că presupune că cei care continuă să sufere nu cheamă pe Dumnezeu aşa cum trebuie. 35:11 care ne învaţă mai mult decât pe dobitoacele pământului, şi ne dă mai multă pricepere decât păsărilor cerului? Mai mult decât pe dobitoacele pământului. Fiarele şi păsările strigă din instinct când trec prin durere şi suferinţă, dar ele nu ştiu cum să facă o cerere Creatorului lor. Dumnezeu l-a învăţat pe om să facă mai mult decât să se plângă. El trebuie să aducă durerea sa la Dumnezeu într-un spirit de credinţă, evlavie, smerenie şi resemnare. După Elihu, dacă Dumnezeu nu răspunde unui astfel de apel, trebuie să lipsească adevăratul spirit. 35:12 Să tot strige ei atunci, căci Dumnezeu nu răspunde, din pricina mândriei celor răi. Să tot strige ei. Evident, Elihu are ochiul îndreptat spre Iov. Dumnezeu răspunde la strigăt sincer. Lucrul acesta este adevărat, dar rezultă de aici că se răspunde la toate strigătele sincere imediat sau aşa cum vrem noi? Aceasta este o simplificare exagerată a suferinţei. Ea arată cum o poziţie aparent logică poate să fie extrem de înşelătoare. Nu răspunde. Elihu spune că Dumnezeu nu răspunde oamenilor răi pentru că ei cer cu mândrie, nu cu smerenie. Ei pretind eliberarea de suferinţă ca pe un drept. Ei se apropie de Dumnezeu din motive egoiste. 35:13 Degeaba strigă, căci Dumnezeu n-ascultă, Cel Atotputernic nu ia aminte. Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 35:14 Măcar că zici că nu-L vezi, totuşi pricina ta este înaintea Lui: aşteaptă-L! Măcar că. Propoziţia aceasta ar trebui probabil să fie tradusă astfel: "Cu atât mai puţin când zici că nu-L poţi vedea". Adică dacă Dumnezeu nu ascultă un strigăt deşert, cu cât mai puţin va asculta El un strigăt al cuiva care zice că nu-L poate vedea pe Dumnezeu. Elihu pare să se refere la afirmaţii descurajatoare făcute de Iov, ca de pildă în cap. 9:11; 13:24; 23:3.8.9; 30:20; 33:10. 35:15 Dar, pentru că mânia Lui nu pedepseşte încă, nu înseamnă că puţin Îi pasă de nelegiuire. Dar pentru că. Prima parte a acestui verset poate fi tradusă literal: "şi acum, pentru că el n-a cercetat mânia lui [a lui Iov]." Ideea poate fi că Dumnezeu n-a trimis suferinţe noi din cauza cuvintelor arogante ale lui Iov. În felul acesta Iov era încurajat să-şi continue plângerile. 35:16 Aşa că Iov îşi deschide gura degeaba, şi spune o mulţime de vorbe fără rost. Degeaba. Elihu trage concluzia că Iov nu are o cauză dreaptă pentru care să se plânge. El dă de înţeles că Iov nu suferise atât de mult cât merită - că de fapt el nu ştie despre ce vorbeşte. Fără îndoială că o astfel de cuvântarea n-avea cum să aducă vreo mângâiere! |

Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
