6:1 Veniţi, să ne întoarcem la Domnul! Căci El ne-a sfâşiat, dar tot El ne va vindeca; El ne-a lovit, dar tot El ne va lega rănile. Veniţi. Versetele 1-3 sunt legate mai îndeaproape de cap. 5,15, decât de restul versetelor din cap. 6. A sfâşiat. Iubirea lui Dumnezeu pentru noi face ca pedeapsa Lui să fie o ,,lucrare ciudată” (Isaia 28,21), una pe care El şovăie să o facă. Scopul esenţial al prezenţei mustrării din partea Lui este de a produce o reformă a vieţii (vezi Psalmi 119,75; Plângeri 3,31-33; Evrei 12,5-11). El ne va vindeca. Domnul, nu asirianul ,,Iareb” (vezi comentariul la cap. 5,13), şi nici vreo altă fiinţă umană (vezi Deuteronom 32,39), este adevăratul Medic. 6:2 El ne va da iarăşi viaţa în două zile; a treia zi ne va scula, şi vom trăi înaintea Lui. În două zile. Expresia ,,în două zile, a treia zi” pare să fie o formulă literară întrebuinţată pentru a denota un timp imprecis (comp. cu 2Regi 9,32; Amos 4,8). Osea prezisese că Domnul va ,,vindeca” (cap. 6,1). Acum adaugă că timpul vindecării va fi un timp nedefinit în viitor, deşi poate nu depărtat. Nu există vreo dovadă biblică specifică cum că acest pasaj este o prezicere mesianică a învierii lui Hristos, deşi credinţa aceasta a fost susţinută la scară aproape generală. Vom trăi înaintea Lui. A trăi înaintea lui Dumnezeu înseamnă a fi în deplină armonie şi în comuniune de iubire cu El (vezi Numeri 6,25.26; Psalm 11,7; 17,15; 27,8.9; 51,11; 67,1; 119: 135). 6:3 Să cunoaştem, să căutăm să cunoaştem pe Domnul! Căci El se iveşte ca zorile dimineţii, şi va veni la noi ca o ploaie, ca ploaia de primăvară, care udă pământul! Să cunoaştem pe Domnul. Vezi comentariul la cap. 4,6. Se iveşte. Pasajul descrie în mod corespunzător lucrarea lui Mesia care va veni (vezi PK 688). Ca zorile dimineţii. Într-un mod deosebit, Răscumpărătorul nostru, Domnul Isus Hristos, este zorile dimineţii, sau Soarele care răsare din înălţime (Luca 1,78). Aşa cum zorile dimineţii se arată în linişte şi gingaş pe pământ, împrăştiind umbrele nopţii şi trezind lumea la o nouă viaţă şi activitate, tot aşa, va răsări Soarele neprihănirii, iar vindecarea va fi sub aripile Lui (Maleahi 4,2). Hristos nu a venit într-o revărsare de slavă exterioară pentru ca să amăgească simţurile oamenilor; mai degrabă El le-a dat oamenilor exact acea măsură de lumină necesară pentru mântuirea sufletului lor. O ploaie ca ploaia de primăvară. Sau ,,ca ploaia târzie şi timpurie”. Ploaia timpurie este ploaia îmbelşugată care cădea după semănarea seminţei toamna (începutul anului iudaic civil şi agricol). Se întindea din ultima parte a lui octombrie, până în prima parte a lui decembrie (vezi comentariul la Deuteronom 11,14; Ioel 2,23). Ploaia târzie este ploaia de primăvară care venea în martie şi aprilie, precedând şi promovând secerişul (vezi Vol. II, p. 109, 110). Printr-un astfel de limbaj figurat expresiv Osea şi-a asigurat poporul de îmbelşugatele binecuvântări ale lui Dumnezeu care urmau să revigoreze şi să hrănească viaţa lor spirituală. 6:4 Ce să-ţi fac, Efraime? Ce să-ţi fac, Iudo? Evlavia voastră este ca norul de dimineaţă, şi ca roua care trece curând. Ce să-ţi fac? Dumnezeu, după ce a încercat în diferite feluri să-i convingă pe Israel şi Iuda să se pocăiască, vede că strădaniile Sale sunt fără succes şi întreabă cu mâhnire ce ar mai putea face înainte de a trimite pedeapsa (vezi comentariul la Isaia 5,4). Roua. Interogatoriul divin era inspirat de evlavia de scurtă durată a poporului. Istoria naţiunii alese a lui Dumnezeu ilustrează din belşug evlavia ei fugară, inconsecventă. Noi toţi avem nevoie să învăţăm aceeaşi lecţie, deoarece bunătatea are doar o mică valoare reală dacă nu devine ceva permanent în viaţă, o trăsătură de caracter. 6:5 De aceea îi voi biciui prin proroci, îi voi ucide prin cuvintele gurii Mele, şi judecăţile Mele vor străluci ca lumina! Biciui. Sau ,,I-am cioplit” [KJV]. Ebraica se referă la cioplirea de pietre pentru construcţii, un simbol potrivit pentru şlefuirea sufletului omenesc de către Sculptorul ceresc după ,,asemănarea lui Dumnezeu” (Iacov 3,9). Judecăţile Mele. Sau ,,Judecăţile Tale” [KJV]. Versiunea LXX şi siriacă zic ,,Judecata Mea”. Indiferent care exprimare este adoptată, expresia constituie în mod clar o aluzie la mustrările divine. 6:6 Căci bunătate voiesc, nu jertfe, şi cunoştinţă de Dumnezeu mai mult decât arderi de tot! Nu jertfe. Vezi comentariul la cap. 5,6 Cunoştinţă. Îndurarea este religia practică, cunoştinţa este călăuza bunei purtări. Lipsită de aceste două elemente fundamentale, religia tinde să fie doar o formă goală, şi ajunge în dizgraţia divină (vezi 1Samuel 15,22; Proverbe 21,3; Isaia 1,11-17; 2Timotei 3,1-5). 6:7 Dar ei au călcat legământul, ca oricare om de rând; şi nu Mi-au fost credincioşi atunci. Au călcat legământul ca oricare om. Sau ,,au călcat legea ca Adam”. În iubirea Lui supremă pentru copii Săi, Dumnezeu îl aşezase pe Adam în grădina Edenului pentru a fi reprezentanţii Lui pe pământ şi ca să-l stăpânească (Geneza 1,26), dar cel dintâi părinte al nostru a călcat porunca lui Dumnezeu de a nu mânca din pomul cunoştinţei binelui şi răului (Geneza 3,6.22-24; Isaia 59,1.2). Ca şi lui Adam, lui Israel şi lui Iuda le-a fost dat de către Dumnezeu un loc de locuit; ca şi Adam, ei au rupt legământul lui Dumnezeu cu ei prin călcarea legii; şi, ca şi Adam, ei vor fi izgoniţi din Ţara Făgăduinţei. Întrucât ,,au călcat legământul” şi ,,au fost necredincioşi”, Israel nu mai era poporul lui Dumnezeu – un fapt implicat de numele Lo-Ami (vezi comentariul la cap. 1,9; 2,23). Necredincioşia lui Israel este ilustrată într-o mulţime de feluri (vezi cap. 6,4; 7,8.11.16), 6:8 Galaadul este o cetate de nelegiuiţi, plină de urme de sânge! Galaadul este o cetate. O cetate neidentificată în Galaad, ţinutul de la răsărit de Iordan, dintre râurile Iarmuc şi Iaboc (vezi comentariul la Geneza 31,47). Galaadiţii sunt descrişi aici ca având o fire de ucigaşi (vezi 2Regi 15,25) şi, prin urmare, nu este surprinzător să aflăm că ei au fost între cei dintâi din regatul de nord care au fost duşi în captivitate de Asiria (2Regi 15,29). 6:9 Ceata preoţilor este ca o ceată de tâlhari, care stă la pândă, săvârşind omoruri pe drumul Sihemului; da, se dedau la mişelii. Ceată de tâlhari. O descriere a stării îngrozitor de nelegiuită a preoţilor înălţimilor (vezi comentariul la cap. 4,13). 6:10 În casa lui Israel am văzut lucruri grozave: acolo Efraim curveşte, Israel se spurcă. Verset ce nu a fost comentat. 6:11 Şi ţie, Iudo, îţi este pregătit un seceriş, când voi aduce înapoi pe robii de război ai poporului Meu! Un seceriş. Acesta poate fi luat într-un sens pozitiv, ca o recompensă, sau într-un sens negativ, ca o pedeapsă. Mulţi învăţaţi preferă interpretarea din urmă, întrucât Iuda, ca şi Israel, a apostaziat, ceea ce în mod sigur urma să ducă la un seceriş de întristare în captivitate (vezi 2Cronici 36,1-2). Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
