9:1 6. Keresztény tapasztalat - Jézus szerető gondoskodása 9:2 Miközben írok, mélységes hálát érzek Megváltónk rólunk való gondoskodásáért. Amikor Isten Igéjét olvasom és imára hajtom térdemet, Isten jósága és kegyelme annyira meghat, hogy könyörgésemet nem tudom könnyek nélkül felajánlani. Szívem összetörik és megszelídül, amint mennyei Atyánk jóságára és szeretetére gondolok. Egyre többre éhezem és szomjazom Jézusból ebben az életben. Krisztus értem feszíttetett meg, panaszkodjam-e hát, ha vele együtt én is megfeszíttetem?... 9:3 Nem tudhatjuk, mi van még előttünk. Egyedüli biztonságunk, ha Krisztussal járunk, kéz a kézben, szívünk tökéletes bizalmával. Nem mondta-e: "Ragadja meg erősségemet, kössön békét velem, békét kössön velem"? Maradjunk közel a Megváltóhoz! Járjunk alázattal vele, teljünk meg szelídségével! Rejtsük el Vele énünket Istenben... 9:4 A KÜLSŐ DÍSZÍTGETÉSE 9:5 Félelmetes veszteséget hoznak magukra azok, akik büszkeséget és hiábavalóságot melengetve bókolnak énjüknek, és öltözködésükre és külső megjelenésükre fordítják azt az időt és figyelmet, amit a Mester munkájára kellene szánniuk. Sokan, akik külsőre gyönyörű ruhákat öltenek magukra, mit sem tudnak az Isten szemében nagyra tartott belső ékességről. Divatos ruhájuk bűnös és romlott szívet takar, mely tele van hiábavalósággal és büszkeséggel. Nem tudják, mit jelent az "...odafelvalókat keressék, ahol a Krisztus van, az Istennek jobbján ülvén" (Kol 3:1). 9:6 Nap mint nap a Krisztus Lelkével szeretnék betelni. Kegyelmének kincse többet ér számomra, mint az arany, az ezüst, vagy az ékes öltözet. Soha nem éreztem még komolyabb vágyódást a megszentelődésre, mint most. 9:7 Amikor testvérnőim kicsit is megértik, mennyit szenvedett Krisztus őértük, hogy Isten gyermekeivé fogadhassa őket, akkor a világi büszkeség és önszeretet nem lesz többé fontos számukra. Nem fogják többé énjüket imádni, és legfőbb tiszteletük tárgya Isten lesz. 9:8 Fáj a szívem, amikor Isten megmutatja nekem, hogy milyen sokan bálványozzák énjüket. Krisztus kifizette megváltásuk árát. Erejük teljes szolgálata Őt illeti. De szívük önszeretettel és önmaguk ékesítésének vágyával van tele. Nem figyelmeznek Jézus szavaira: "Ha valaki én utánam akar jőni, tagadja meg magát, és vegye fel az ő keresztjét, és kövessen engem" (Mk 8:34). Saját vágyaik kielégítése elrejti Krisztust szemük elől. Nem kívánnak szelídséggel és alázattal járni Isten előtt. Nem tekintenek Jézusra. Nem imádkoznak azért, hogy az Ő hasonlatosságára változzanak el. Esetüket példázza az a férfi, aki hétköznapi öltözetben jelent meg a királyi menyegzőn, mert nem tette meg a király által megkívánt előkészületeket. A drága áron szerzett ruhát méltóságon alulinak tartotta. Semmit nem tudott válaszolni a király kérdésére: "Barátom, mi módon jöttél ide, holott nincs menyegzői ruhád...?" (Mt 22:12). Szótlan maradt, mert vádolta magát. 9:9 Sokan, akik kereszténynek vallják magukat, valóban csak névlegesen azok. Nem tértek meg. Előtérbe helyezik az énjüket. Nem ülnek le, hogy tanuljanak Jézus lábainál, mint ahogy Mária tette. Nincsenek készen Krisztus eljövetelére. 9:10 A NAGY MEGLEPETÉS 9:11 Éjjeli látásban olyan emberek társaságában voltam, kiknek szívét hiábavalóság és önhittség töltötte el. Krisztus el volt rejtve szemük elől. Hirtelen hangos, tisztán érthető szavakat hallottam: "Jézus jön, hogy magához vigye azokat, akik e földön szerették és szolgálták Őt, hogy mindörökké vele legyenek országában." A társaságból sokan Jézus elé mentek drága öltözetükben. Szüntelenül ruhájukat figyelték. De amikor meglátták az Ő dicsőségét, és felismerték, hogy egymás értékelésében milyen nagy szerepet kapott a külső megjelenés, megértették, hogy Krisztus szentségének köntöse nélkül állnak, saját ruháikon pedig lelkek vérét hordozzák. 9:12 Amikor Krisztus elvitte választottait, ők nem mentek vele, mivel nem voltak készen. Életükben az én kapta az első helyet, és amikor a Megváltó eljött, nem voltak felkészülve a vele való találkozásra. 9:13 Az ébredéskor kétségbeesett arckifejezésük volt előttem, s ez élesen elmémbe vésődött. Nem tudom elfelejteni ezt a látványt. Bárcsak le tudnám írni a dolgot úgy, ahogyan láttam. Ó, milyen keserű volt azok csalódása, akik nem ismerték meg tapasztalatból a következő szavak jelentését: "Mert meghaltatok, és a ti éltetek el van rejtve együtt a Krisztussal az Istenben" (Kol 3:3). 9:14 Sokan kereszténynek vallják magukat, de nem ismerik Krisztust tapasztalatból. Mennyire fáj a szívem ezekért a szánalmas, becsapott, készületlen lelkekért! Amint a gyülekezetekben állva látom az önelégülteket és az önigazultakat, akikről tudom, hogy nem készítik magukat arra, hogy elfogadható munkát végezzenek Krisztusért, és hogy békében láthassák meg Őt, a nagy tehertől nem vagyok képes aludni. Azt kérdezem magamtól: Mit tehetnék ezekért a lelkekért, hogy valódi helyzetük tudatára ébresztené őket? Életük mindent átható témája az én. Olyan tisztán szeretném eléjük tárni Krisztust, hogy meglássák Őt, és megszűnjenek önmagukra összpontosítani figyelmüket... 9:15 Azok között, akiket a végső számvetés napján keserves csalódás fog érni, lesznek olyanok, akik külsőleg vallásosak voltak, és akik látszólag keresztény életet éltek. Azonban minden tettüket önzés vezérelt. Erkölcsükkel, befolyásukkal, magas pozíciójukkal és igazság ismeretükkel büszkélkednek, mert azt hiszik, hogy azzal nyerik el Krisztus dicséretét. "Te előtted ettünk és ittunk - mondják majd -, és a mi utcáinkon tanítottál" (Lk 13:26). "Nem a te nevedben prófétáltunk-e, és nem a te nevedben űztünk-e ördögöket, és nem cselekedtünk-e sok hatalmas dolgot a te nevedben?" (Mt 7:22). 9:16 De Krisztus azt mondja: "Sohasem ismertelek titeket; távozzatok tőlem." "Nem minden, aki ezt mondja nékem: Uram! Uram! megyen be a mennyek országába; hanem a ki cselekszi az én mennyei Atyám akaratát" (Mt 7:21). 9:17 A kérlelés ideje lejárt. Elhangzott a megmásíthatatlan ítélet. Saját alkalmatlanságuk zárta ki őket a menny társaságából. [Lásd: Máté 7:24-27!] (91. Levél, 1904.) 9:18 A megváltás terve által Isten biztosította a lehetőséget minden bűnös jellemvonás és minden kísértés legyőzésére, bármilyen erősek is azok (The Review and Herald, 1885. december 22). 9:19 Ha Isten népének szívében Krisztus szeretete lakozna; ha a gyülekezeti tagokat az önmegtagadás lelkülete jellemezné; és ha mindannyian mély elszántságot tanúsítanának, akkor nem lenne anyagi hiány a hazai és külföldi missziók támogatására. Forrásaink megsokszorozódnának. Járható ajtók ezrei nyílnának meg előttünk. Ha Isten népe véghezvitte volna az Ő célját, a kegyelem üzenetének hirdetése által, akkor Krisztus már eljött volna a földre és a szentek beléptek volna Isten városába (Notebook Leaflets, Christian Experience, 1. szám, 1904. február 18. - Union Conference Record [Ausztrál-Ázsia], 1898. október 15). |

Special note for ANDROID SmartPhones
I recommend to download PhoneMe emulator for Android from here.
Especially I recommend phoneME Advanced - Foundation Profile + MIDP High Resolution b168 rev20547 from here, or from here.
Then you have to build your application, to transfer the .jar and .jad files on your mobile phone and run using this nice emulator.
1. Install a Zip Utility from Android Market.
2. Install a File Manager from Android Market.
3. Download and install PhoneMe, as mentioned above.
4. Build your application by using Download Multilingual Service or Dynamic Download (zip).
5. Copy the zip file into your Android Phone and unzip the content in a folder, and then write down the path to the unzipped files and the name of the .jad file.
6. Launch PhoneMe from your smartphone.
7. Inside PhoneMe, write to the main window the path and the name to the .jad file, above mentioned. Will look something like: file:///mnt/sd/download/BiblePhone.jad and then press enter.
8. The application will be installed, and next a hyperlink will be available below the above mentioned textbox. On this way you can install as many of MIDP application you like on your Android Phone.
How to install the application in Java Mobile enabled phones
It is possible now to have the Holy Scriptures on your mobile phone and to read
it wherever you are due to the Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP)
technology in 1.0 and 2.0 versions, developed for Java applications.
A good advice is to try in the beginning the MIDP 1.0 / 128 Kbytes version, and
progressively to advance to MIDP 2.0 and larger volumes (512 Kbytes or more).
The application is available for MIDP 2.0, MIDP 1.0. You have only to select one
table on the field MIDP2.0 or MIDP1.0, according to the desired Bible version.
Then, you shall make a click on the JAR (Java Archive) file in order to obtain
the software to be installed on your mobile phone.
I recommend you to start with STARTER(MIDP1.0old) edition, then to continue with
INTERMEDIATE(MIDP1.0), and in the end, if the mobile phone supports this thing,
to try to install the ADVANCED (MIDP2.0) edition. Also, start with 128 kbytes
volumes, continue with 512 kbytes, and at the end try the version in one file.
There are cases where the mobile phone requires so called JAD (Java Descriptor)
files. These JAD files has to be
uploaded, on this case, together with the desired JAR files(s).
There are different methods to download the applications in your mobile phone as
follows:
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
5. If none from the above cases are valid
Next, we shall examine each case in order to have a successfully installation of
the software.
1. Directly from Internet by using a WAP or GPRS connection
If your have Internet access on your mobile phone (e.g. WAP or GPRS), it is
enough to access
https://biblephone.intercer.net/wap/ from the browser of the mobile phone,
and to access the desired Bible version, and then to make an option about
MIDP1.0 or MIDP2.0, and finally to select the desired module (e.g. one or more).
After the last selection, the desired version will be downloaded on your mobile
phone.
Many phones have only this option for installing JAVA appplications.
2. By using the infrared port of the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
If you don't have access to Internet directly from your mobile phone, then you
shall have to pass to this step requiring to have infrared ports on your mobile
phone and on the computer.
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to activate the infrared port on the mobile phone and align it with the infrared
port of the computer (preferable laptop).
c. Then a window will appear asking what file you want to send to the mobile
phone. Next, you will select the downloaded JAR file, and after OK, the mobile
phone will ask you if you want to load that file. You say YES and the
application will be downloaded on your mobile phone.
d. Probably, you will be asked by the mobile phone where you want to save it (e.g.
on the games or applications directories). After you made this selection, the
file will be ready to be loaded for run.
The displaying preference can be set inside the application in order to have
larger fonts, full screen display etc.
3. By wireless Bluetooth access to the mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones.
This situation is similar with the infrared case. You have only to activate
Bluetooth access on your mobile phone (check if exists) and on the computer (check
if exists).
4. By cable link between PC ad mobile phone
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific
mobile phones.
On this case the steps are as follows:
a. On this case, you will download the application by using the computer from
the Internet (i.e. JAR files).
b. Once the application is downloaded (preferable on the desktop) you will have
to set up the wired connection between the mobile phone and the computer. Next,
you will start the synchronization / data transfer application and download the
JAR file in your mobile phone. Surely, you will have to consult the CD of your
mobile phone.
c. By this application you shall transfer into your mobile phone the JAR file in
the games or applications directories. Next, you will have to select for run the
JAR desired file.
5. If none from the above cases are valid
On this unhappy case, I recommend you to find a friend with a laptop having
infrared / Bluetooth capabilities, or to buy a data link cable, or to change
your current model of mobile phone.
Unfortunately, some models of mobile phones require only WAP/GPRS in order to
download and run Java applications.
Sometimes there is a need for a special uploader software for specific mobile
phones. Therefore check the documentation of them and also the page for specific
models.
Why so many versions? Simple, because not all the mobile phones support the
Bible in one file with MIDP 2.0 (the most advanced for the time being).
